The goal of education in Vietnam in the current period is to actively integrate and improve the quality of higher education. Building a model for evaluating students’ output competencies is the basis for developing and adjusting the curricula to meet society’s demands. Students’ output capacity is the result of the education and training process at university. Due to the global competitive tendencies, universities focus on training qualified and competitive human resources, capable of entering the international labour market. Students of International Studies (IS) are trained in a multidisciplinary field therefore, and learning outcomes assessments are seen as the prerequisite for asserting the quality of human resources from this training program.
