The media industry, especially cultural mediation, is becoming increasingly important. It is even more important in Central Vietnam, a land rich in culture and history, since it allows accessibility to these two factors, which are in need of promotion in the direction of both conservation and development. Cultural mediation helps to achieve dual goals: knowledge development and socio-economic development. To achieve these goals, the labor market needs appropriately trained human resources. In response to these demands, the Department of French at the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University has offered many courses that provide the knowledge and skills required of a cultural communicator. This study is carried out to investigate the probability of training human resources in cultural communication and suggested measures to ensure and boost up the training quality.
