Abstract

This study was conducted with an aim to investigate into the use of online learning (with Life textbook) by non-English-major students (at Elementary level) at Hue College of Foreign Languages.  The analysis of collected data helped find out the effectiveness of applying primary blended-learning to teaching English to non-Enghlish-major students at elementary level (A1 level).  The study also examined the teaching and learning process when Life textbook was used in an attempt to choose the most suitable and applicable methods for the teacher and students when implementing the course with the limited time of practice.  The solutions are proposed for managing the class, improving the effectiveness of English teaching and learning and to enhance students’ autonomy.
