CEFR AND ITS APPLICATION IN ASSESSMENT

Abstract

Since publication, the CEFR has had various applications in different aspects from curriculm design, material development, learng outocmes, and especially in assessment. The present article presents the principles of the CEFR application and its practice in assessment at University of Foreign Languages, Hue Univerisity. The study applies qualitative method using documentary research method and group interviews. The result shows the achievement and limitations in CEFR applications in assessment. From the findings, some suggestions on the application process have been proposed.
